Installation & Warranty
All blinds and shades purchased at Blinds & Drapes Etc come with a manufacturer’s warranty. For warranty specifics, please visit the applicable manufacturer’s website:

General wear and tear and misuse of blinds & shades are not covered under warranty.
Warranties are only provided to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
If you are experiencing trouble with your window coverings, please contact us so we can help you troubleshoot the problem over the phone. Many things can be easily remedied this way.
If this doesn't work, you have 2 options to get your shade repaired:
1. Return the shade to our showroom, in order for us to send it back to the manufacturer’s factory for warranty work. We will work on your behalf to send the shade to the mainland for repair. If you shade is more than 1 year old, you will have to pay the 1-way shipping, which starts at $50 plus HST (depending on the size of your shade this rate could be more.) This process will take about 4 weeks by the time it’s boxed, shipped, repaired and shipped back.
2. Contact one of our independent installers to do an in-house service call. Please call our showroom for the phone numbers of these installers. Note that a service call fee will apply and you will pay the installer directly.
If the issue with your shade is not covered under your warranty, we will work with the manufacturer to see if they can still repair the shade for an additional fee.
Installation is extra and is available through an independent installer. Should you require installation, we can help you arrange that. You would pay the installer directly for their services.
