Adam Stead
Adam officially joined our team in 2004 but brings a lifetime of experience in interior design and window treatments. That’s what happens when you have a family in interior design! Adam has undergone specialized training in window treatments and is a “certified professional installer” with Hunter Douglas®. Adam has an in-depth, almost uncanny, knowledge of products and their features, which can benefit you in finding the right solution for your window treatments. Add to his experience and knowledge, Adam is an absolute pleasure to work with — that’s why the majority of his customers come back time and time again for all their design needs. Adam’s specialty is project design, implementation, and management.
April Stead
April opened the doors of Blinds & Drapes in 2000, having brought with her over 30+ years of experience in interior design. Her insights, knowledge, and professionalism are some of the reasons she has maintained some of the same clientele for over four decades.
Cynthia Whelan
Cynthia joined the Blinds & Drapes team in 2014, having returned to St. John’s from the NWT. She brings over 30+ years in customer service. Her natural eye for interior design and her ability to find the right solutions for her customer make her an interior design consultant superstar.
Robyn Thistle
Robyn, brings over 25 years’ experience in project management and customer service. Similar to Adam (her brother), she has grown up in the interior design business. These siblings joke that they have the décor gene! Robyn’s expertise is in customer service and matching customer’s needs and budgets to products that work for them. Some of the words customers use to describe Robyn are "refreshing", "passionate" and "a pleasure to work with."
Yvonne Breen
Yvonne Ellsworth: Yvonne joined Blinds & Drapes in 2008, having returned to St. John’s from Alberta. She brings 20+ years of interior decorating knowledge with her. Since joining our team, Yvonne has undergone extensive product training and keeps on top of all current changes in the window treatment and design industry by regularly attending seminars and workshops. Her professional background and pleasant disposition can make your whole home or one-room makeover, a smooth and enjoyable experience.
